Public Awards and More - Cub Scout Pack 233 (Roseville, Minnesota)

In addition to the Ranks that a Scout may achieve, there are many awards and other advancements to be earned. This page is merely in introduction! Simply Google the name of the award should bring you to more information about helping your Scout earn the award.

Some items on this page need updating since the new Cub Scout program has begun.

The most popular is the "Academics and Sports Program", also known as "Belt Loops." This program is designed to introduce Scouts to a wide variety of Academic and Sport activities. It is NOT designed to require competence! That comes later! For Scouts that find an activity they really enjoy they may do more electives and then earn a Pin for the same activity. The Belt Loop always comes first though.

The "Outdoor Activity Award" is given for a variety of Outdoor activities.

Webelos Scouts can earn the "Summit Achievement Award."
