Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child at the designated times. Our meetings run from 7:00pm to 8:15pm at Global Family Fellowship. Due to the time and with school the next day please have your daughter there on time so she does not miss out on any activities. Please be there between 8:00-8:15 to pick up your daughter. If you are running late please be courteous and call one of the leaders to make them aware. When dropping off your daughter, an adult MUST accompany her to the meeting room so we can see who is dropping her off. You should also make it a habit of coming in upon dismissal to find out any information for upcoming meetings or events.
We will not allow your daughter(s) in the parking lot upon dismissal without a parent.
Dues are due at each meeting. The cost of dues is $2.00 and if your daughter misses a meeting she is responsible for making up the missed dues at the next meeting. Remember we use the dues to buy the girls their projects and supplies among other things.
Snacks for meetings are something the girls look forward to. We have a snack list that is always available for parents to sign up on so please make sure you ask and do your part to make sure the girls can count on you when it is your turn. If you would like to donate a special treat at one of the girl's meetings please let one of the leaders know ahead of time.
We encourage parent involvement but you must remember that to participate in "events" you must be a registered volunteer through the council. Once cleared/approved by council we will rotate parent help when needed that way each parent gets a chance to volunteer with thier daughter at a special event.
Please always remember that when you are at a Girl Scout function that you must set an example for your daughter. You are your daughter's first teacher and as the saying goes... lead by example.
